I am a faculty member at the Institute for Astronomy at Hawai'i University, Manoa. I study the evolution of disk galaxies, using detailed observations of the Milky Way and nearby galaxies together with simple models combining dynamics, chemical evolution, and statistcs, to understands things about how galaxies form, and what drives their dynamical evolution.Posts (with cool animations)
